I moved into a new building about 7 months ago here in Los Angeles. The neighbors are mostly interesting and friendly. I'm quiet, I say hello, but keep to myself. It was about 5:30 so I wrote my property manager asking if we were still on for a drink? Almost immediately she responded, saying to come up whenever. I moved some boxes around, got as settled as I could and hopped in the shower. I was really looking forward to this drink... A little nervous to have to talk to people again, but in need enough that "it'd calm my nerve." I was really loving the details of this new building. Aged hardwood, dim lights... more old than beautiful. Just a great East LA building.
